Cotto Tiles, part of the Thai Cement group, manufactures ceramic tiles using mould machines cooled by a recirculating water system. The cooling circuit was suffering from both silica and calcium deposition, which were made worse by oil contamination in the water.
The challenge
Persistent scale deposits inside pipelines and cooling circuits

The solution
A Magcat conditioner was installed on the cooling water circuit supplying the mould machines. The unit was sized to treat the full system flow, targeting both new scale prevention and gradual removal of existing deposits.
